A Hypnotherapist can help you to identify old undesirable habits and assist you to change them. Hypnosis can be very helpful in changing habits such as comfort eating, smoking, insomnia and many other undesirable behaviours such as phobias. Hypnosis can help you to increase your self confidence.
|
| Hypnotherapy is a gentle and easy process which harnesses your consent to access and change deep rooted behaviour patterns and habits which you want to change. You remain in a state of awareness and nothing can be done unless you agree to it. At the Weight Loss People we have an ‘Observer’ present throughout our courses, to ensure the course weight loss course is delivered consistently. |
Will you lose control when under hypnosis?
No. Nobody can be hypnotised against their will. Hypnosis is about the client and the Hypnotherapist working together so that the client can be empowered to create change in their life. Nobody can be forced to do anything against their will. Hypnosis allows people to achieve the change they desire by going directly to the source. |
Will you be asleep when hypnotised?
No you will not normally go to sleep when you are hypnotised, although I have known some people to do so, and if you do that’s alright. Hypnosis is a very relaxed state and often after a Hypnotherapist has completed a session people don't believe that they were hypnotised. They are aware of what has been said and can confirm different feelings and sensations. |
Why is the weight loss course so long?
The Weight Loss People are determined to provide a solution to reducing your weight now and in the future. It is true that some Hypnotherapists offer a therapy in one to three sessions and we have no information on the success of this practice. We do however, offer a money back guarantee*1 because our courses produce results, and they are designed to do that rather than fit a short timescale for convenience; hence the 20 week support. If you want a long term solution enroll now. |
Suppose I can’t attend every session?
It depends on the reason! As long as you communicate with us and explain the issue we will do everything we can to assist you to complete the course by transferring to another later course, at no extra cost. If you are away for more than two weeks we may offer a refresher course before integrating you into another course, again at no extra cost. |
What if I drop out and do not want to continue?
If you drop out and decide not to continue the course that is your decision and we will not pester you, nor will we refund your fee. A fundamental condition of the guarantee is that you do complete the course. The reason is that we believe as long as you do that you will lose weight and be equipped to control your weight in the future. |
Why can’t I turn up on the day and enrol?
We need to satisfy ourselves regarding any medical condition you have and or any medication that you may be on. It may be necessary for us to obtain your doctor approval for you to join . In addition we will only enrol people who we believe really do want to reduce their weight and are going to put the effort in to do so. Our reputation is at stake, we do not do failure. |
Can anyone be hypnotised?
As long as you agree to be hypnotised, yes. Obviously some people find it easier to achieve this than others but with your agreement you will be hypnotised and with the incentive of achieving your goal you will find it gentle and easy. |
Stage Hypnosis
Stage Hypnosis is not the same as hypnotherapy however the principle that a person cannot be made to do something they do not want to do still applies. All audience contestants in a Stage Show volunteer for that experience. You cannot be forced to do something against your will. |
What is the difference between hypnosis and hypnotism for instance?
Hypnosis and hypnotism refer to the same thing; Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of hypnosis or hypnosis used in a clinical setting as opposed to say, stage hypnosis. |
